Municipal Options
Each state may include different Municipal Options. Use Municipal Options to control how returns display, which returns are included when downloading return PDFs, and whether payment requests are included with the return output.
To open Municipal Options, select the Options gear icon at the top of the Municipal screen.
After changing options, select Save, then close the dialog.

Display Options
Use display options to control how amounts appear on returns.
Depending on the state, you may be able to choose whether returns display amounts in cents or whole dollars.
Print and Download Options
Use print and download options to control which returns are included when you download return PDFs or print returns.
Options include:
- Print returns only
- Print returns and payment requests
- Include returns with positive amounts due
- Include returns with negative amounts due
- Include returns with zero amounts due
- Include all returns
- Include only returns with premiums
These selections are used when you right-click the Municipal Returns folder in the left navigation pane and select Download All Municipal Returns. The selected options determine which returns and payment requests are included in the downloaded PDF.
Payment Request Options
Some options affect whether payment request forms are included when returns are printed or downloaded.
If payment requests are included, review the Payment Request Schedule before downloading returns to confirm that the payment information is complete.
State-Specific Options
Municipal Options may vary by state. Review the options for the selected state before processing or downloading returns.

Municipal Options affect the way returns are displayed, downloaded, or printed. Review these settings before generating final return files.
